As a maternity photographer, I often have the privilege of capturing some of life’s most beautiful moments, but this session with Jaci and her daughter, Goldie, was particularly close to my heart. Not only is Jaci a dear friend, but this shoot also celebrated her pregnancy with baby Harvey in the beautiful home that she’s thoughtfully decorated over the past 10 years.

A Heartfelt Gift for a Maternity Shower

Knowing how much this session meant to Jaci, I wanted to give her a meaningful keepsake. For her baby shower, I surprised her with two framed prints from this session. One featured a Goldie showing off her belly “just like mama”, and the other highlighted her glowing bump.

When she unwrapped the gift, tears filled her eyes. She hugged me and told me these photos were the most heartfelt gift she’d ever received. Knowing I could give her something that would forever remind her of this precious time is the reason why do what I do.
