A Sacramento In Home Newborn Session // The Ruiz Family

Stepping into the Ruiz family’s home was like stepping into the heart of their story—full of life, love, and just the right amount of chaos. Danielle and Kevin, along with big brother Zane, welcomed their sweet baby girl, Maxine, into their lives, and it was a joy to document their first moments as a family of four.

The house was a reflection of this exciting season in their lives—warm, welcoming, and filled with the beautiful sound of life with littles. Zane, the proud big brother, brought so much energy and fun to the session, running around and adding a sense of adventure to every corner of their home. He was curious, playful, and made sure his new sister knew from the start that life with him around would never be dull.

Baby Maxine, on the other hand, brought a sweet calmness to the room. Snuggled up in her parents’ arms, she was already so deeply loved, her tiny presence a perfect addition to the rhythm of their family. Watching Danielle and Kevin juggle this new chapter with laughter, patience, and teamwork was truly inspiring. I was just pregnant with my second son when I took these photos and they were so real with me on what life was like with two little ones at home.
